Danielle Shay

Danielle Shay a self-made options trader, market analyst, and expert commentator. She serves as the Vice President of Options at Simpler Trading, where she leads trading activities, conducts market analysis, teaches classes and webinars, and writes the “Five Star Trader” newsletter.   Her trading approach focuses on trend-following and directional strategies using options, stocks, and ETFs.

Before her career in trading, Danielle was a teacher. Her passion for education continues as she strives to simplify complex trading concepts for individuals at all skill levels. Her motto, “If I can do it, you can do it,” reflects her commitment to empowering others.  

Danielle is a frequent media expert, appearing on platforms such as CNBC’s Trading Nation, Fox News, Fox Business, Yahoo! Finance, and Cheddar. She also contributed to the third edition of John Carter’s book, “Mastering the Trade.”
