Kathy Lien

Kathy Lien is a prominent figure in the financial industry, renowned for her expertise in currency trading and analysis. She began her career on Wall Street at the age of 18 after graduating from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she earned a degree in finance and economics.  

Throughout her career, Kathy has held significant positions, including working on JPMorgan Chase’s interbank foreign exchange trading desk and later joining their cross-markets proprietary trading group. She also served as Chief Strategist at DailyFX and Director of Currency Research at Global Futures & Forex Ltd.  

Currently, Kathy is the Managing Director of FX Strategy at BK Asset Management, a firm she co-founded, where she develops trading strategies and provides market analysis. She is also a published author, with notable works such as “Day Trading and Swing Trading the Currency Market” and “The Little Book of Currency Trading.”
